Beginning in 2001, ArMHCA has provided an annual Spring Conference.  Each year the conference theme changes, but the consistent goal is to provide Mental Health Counselors quality continuing education.  Our CEU's are issued by the NBCC.

The planning for the next conference begins before the previous conference has ended.  Each year, we request conference attendees to provide suggestions about topics they want to know more about.  ArMHCA Board Members are supervisors, practicing counselors in a variety of settings and counselors just entering the profession.  All of us listening to fellow counselors, throughout Arkansas, about what type of topics and types of trainings practicing counselors want.

Each year we attempt to pack a schedule with a variety of topics.  When we hear comments like, "I can't decide which workshop to go to, I want to go to them all", we take it as a compliment.  That is exactly what we are aiming for.  A conference with so much to offer, it is hard to decide which workshop to attend because they are all so interesting!

We also aim to keep the cost of attending the conference one of the best buys you can get for the amount of CEU's you can earn.  We offer 2 to 3 times as many CEU's for less than many charge for half of what we offer.

When it comes to networking, The Annual ArMHCA Spring Conference can't be beat!  This is the place to meet Licensure Board Members, ARMHCA Board Members, LAC/LAMFT Supervisors, job contacts, graduate placement contacts, fellow counselors and a variety of vendors who desire to share their programs with you.

The Annual ArMHCA Spring Conference is held the 2nd week in April at the Hilton Metro Centre at the University Ave./ I 630 exit in Little Rock.
